Editing your profile and deleting your account

Your artist name, managing your account, and how deleting differs from canceling a subscription.

Your profile

On your profile page you'll find: Artist name - the name shown on your songs and public profile. You can change it at any time by clicking "Edit". Account - the email you signed in with. Push notifications - a switch to turn them on and off, when your device and browser support it. Connected accounts - the YouTube and SoundCloud connections used for publishing. Cancel subscription - appears only when you have an active subscription. Credits history - every credit you received or used. You can't delete your account yourself from the profile page. Deletion is done by asking us, as explained below.

Artist name and public profile

Your artist name is the name shown on your songs and public profile, so choose one you're comfortable making public. Song visibility is a separate setting: a private song is hidden from your public profile, but can still be opened with its link.

Before deleting your account

You can't currently delete your account yourself on the website or in the app. To delete it, write to us at tzahi.dagan@gmail.com (the address in the Privacy Policy) from your account email. Before that, download a copy of any songs you want to keep, if you have download access. Deletion is permanent: it removes your account and its content, cancels any active subscription, and forfeits your credit balance without a refund. A subscription bought through the App Store is canceled in your Apple account settings. Don't ask for deletion just to stop notifications or emails, or to cancel a renewal: turn off push notifications in your profile, unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link at the bottom of each one, and cancel your subscription separately.

Accounts for publishing

YouTube and SoundCloud connections are used for publishing, and aren't necessarily how you sign in to Kleep. Disconnecting a publishing account doesn't remove songs already published on that outside service, as the publishing guide explains. You manage your content there through that service as well.
