Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tzahi Dagan (About), the operator of Kleep, ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Kleep (the "Service") at kleep.art. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address, used for sign-in and account management. You can sign in with a one-time email link or code, or with Google, Apple or Facebook. When you use one of these providers, we receive from it your name, email address, a provider account identifier and, if the provider supplies one, your profile picture.
• Content you create. The prompts, lyrics, settings, and generated songs associated with your account, so we can store and display your library.
• Usage and billing data. Credit balances, subscription status, and transaction references needed to operate the credit and subscription system.
• Technical data. Standard log information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for security and to keep the Service running.
• Device identifier and IP address for abuse prevention. When you sign up, we store a random identifier generated in your browser (saved in a cookie and in local storage for up to about 400 days) together with your IP address, so the free sign-up bonus is granted only once per person, device and IP address and to detect fraud and multi-account abuse.
• Analytics and advertising data. Through Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, Meta (Facebook) Pixel and, where enabled, Microsoft Clarity, our partners collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, clicks, device and browser information, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site and cookie identifiers. See section 10 (Cookies).

Payment-card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Grow (formerly Meshulam). We do not receive or store your full card numbers. If you buy through the Kleep iOS app, the purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store, and we receive only the transaction details needed to grant your credits or subscription (such as the product, transaction identifier and status), not your payment details.

2. Voice recordings and uploaded audio

If you upload or record an audio clip (for example, to turn a melody into a song or to extract lyrics), the clip is used only to complete that request. It is sent to our AI generation provider solely for processing. We do not store it in your account or library, we do not use it to train AI models, and it is automatically and permanently deleted from our storage after processing, and in any case within 7 days of upload.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and generate songs you request;
• To authenticate you and secure your account;
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and grant credits;
• To respond to support requests and communicate important service notices;
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Marketing emails

When you create an account, you are added to our mailing list and we may send you promotional emails about Kleep, including new features, offers, and content updates, alongside the service emails required to operate your account. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every such email, or by contacting us at tzahi.dagan@gmail.com. Unsubscribing does not affect service emails such as sign-in links, payment receipts, and important account notices.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, including:

• Supabase (open-source platform, self-hosted on our own servers) - authentication, database and storage for your account and content;
• Cloudflare - network delivery, security protection and file storage (Cloudflare R2) for songs and images;
• kie.ai - AI music generation (using Suno models); receives the prompts, lyrics and audio inputs needed to generate songs;
• Google Gemini - AI processing of text, such as writing and checking lyrics and generating cover art;
• Resend - delivery of sign-in and service emails and marketing emails;
• Grow (formerly Meshulam) - payment processor for website purchases and subscriptions;
• Apple - App Store in-app purchases and, if you choose it, Sign in with Apple;
• Google - Sign in with Google, Google Analytics, Google Ads and, if you choose it, YouTube uploads;
• Meta (Facebook) - Meta Pixel advertising measurement and, if you choose it, Facebook sign-in;
• Microsoft - Microsoft Clarity usage analytics, where enabled.

Songs you choose to make public, together with their title, lyrics, cover art, and your public profile name, are visible to anyone. Private songs are not shown in Explore or on your public profile, but anyone who has a song's share link can open and play it, so share links to private songs only with people you trust.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We retain transaction records as required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes. Device identifiers, IP addresses and related records used to prevent duplicate sign-up bonuses and abuse are kept for as long as needed for fraud prevention, and may be kept after your account is deleted for that purpose. When you delete your account, any active subscription or standing order is cancelled immediately, remaining credits are forfeited, and we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

7. AI model training

We do not use your content, including prompts, lyrics, voice recordings, and generated songs, to train AI models.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at tzahi.dagan@gmail.com. You can delete your account at any time yourself, using Delete account on your Profile page, or by asking us by email.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. AI generation runs server-side so that third-party API keys are never exposed to your browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to keep you signed in, operate the Service, prevent abuse, measure usage and measure our advertising. Some of these are set by third parties (Google, Meta, Microsoft and Grow), which may use them to recognize your browser across other websites. The main cookies are:

• Sign-in cookies - keep you signed in (essential);
• kleep_device_id - random device identifier used to prevent duplicate sign-up bonuses and abuse, up to about 400 days (also kept in local storage);
• _ga, _ga_[ID] - Google Analytics, used to distinguish visitors and sessions, up to 2 years;
• _fbp - Meta Pixel, used to measure and deliver advertising, about 3 months;
• _clck, _clsk - Microsoft Clarity, usage analytics, where enabled;
• Grow cookies - set by our payment provider as part of its checkout flow.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland (or your location is unknown), a cookie banner lets you choose "Accept all" or "Reject non-essential", and Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity load only after you accept. Elsewhere, a notice informs you that by continuing to browse you agree to these cookies, and they load right away; you can refuse them with "Reject non-essential" in the notice or at any time later. Your region is detected from your IP address and kept in the kleep_geo cookie for 30 days; essential cookies (sign-in, kleep_device_id and Grow) are always used. Your choice is saved in the kleep_consent cookie for 12 months, and you can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. You can also control cookies at any time: block or delete them in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and manage Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.

11. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

14. YouTube and Google user data

If you choose to use the "Post to YouTube" feature, you connect your YouTube channel through Google OAuth and grant Kleep a single permission: `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload` ("Manage your YouTube videos").

• What we access. Only the ability to upload a video to the YouTube channel you choose. We do not read, list, edit, or delete your existing videos, and we do not access your YouTube analytics, comments, subscriptions, or any other Google account data.
• How we use it. Solely to upload the lyric video of the song you selected, with its title and description, when you click the YouTube button. Uploads happen only at your request.
• What we store. An encrypted OAuth refresh token linked to your Kleep account, so you do not need to reconnect for every upload, and the link to the uploaded video. We do not store your Google password.
• Sharing. Google user data is never sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
• Revoking access. You can disconnect at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by contacting us at tzahi.dagan@gmail.com. When access is revoked or your account is deleted, we delete the stored token.

Kleep's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Uploads are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
