How to Use Suno: Create a Song, Add Lyrics, Compare Plans and Download
This guide covers Suno directly, rather than Kleep. Interface labels and available features vary by platform and plan. Prices and limits were checked against the linked official sources on November 7, 2026.
Create your first song
- Sign in at Suno Create. Start with a short description, or choose Custom for existing lyrics.
- Describe one topic, genre, mood and vocal direction. For example: acoustic pop about a first apartment, warm singing, guitar and piano.
- Leave Instrumental off for singing, or enable it for music without vocals.
- Review the selected model and credit charge, then choose Create.
- Listen to each result. Change one detail per attempt and compare pronunciation and pacing.
Paste your own lyrics in Custom mode
In Create, enable Custom. Put the song text in Lyrics and production directions in Styles or Style of Music. Add a title if offered. Keep instructions outside the sung text and label sections [Verse] and [Chorus]. Only use text you wrote or are authorized to use. See Suno’s own-lyrics guide.
Prepare Hebrew lyrics
Use natural Hebrew, short lines and selective nikud for ambiguous words or names. Compare takes while keeping the song idea fixed. No language instruction guarantees correct pronunciation. Read Hebrew pronunciation guidance.
Plans, prices and creation credits
Checked official prices: Free costs $0 with 50 daily credits. Pro costs $10 monthly or $96 billed annually, with 2,500 monthly credits. Premier costs $30 monthly or $288 billed annually, with 10,000 monthly credits. Checkout adds applicable taxes. Annual monthly equivalents are not monthly installments.
Check the displayed charge for each operation. Generation credits and download allowances are separate. Subscription credits do not roll over; purchased credits have separate conditions.
Download a finished song
Find the song in Library or Workspace, open its actions menu and choose Download if available. Select an offered format, review the allowance and confirm. Play the file to check its start and ending. Download documentation lists 20 monthly song downloads for Pro and 60 for Premier, with different rules for Studio workflows. Free accounts have no regular monthly download allowance; trial availability depends on eligibility and is non-commercial.
Check permission before publishing
Paid plans include commercial permission subject to Suno terms. Do not assume upgrading retroactively licenses earlier free songs. Permission to use output does not guarantee exclusive copyright. Keep source permissions, plan records and creation dates. See Suno ownership guidance and our commercial rights guide.
Suno and Kleep are separate services
Suno offers direct model and editing controls. Kleep uses Suno through an API provider and adds Hebrew preparation, nikud and gender matching. Accounts and subscriptions are separate. See Suno versus Kleep and editing and extensions.
Frequently asked questions
Which Suno field should contain my personal lyrics?
Enable Custom in Create, put the song text in Lyrics and the production description in the style field. This helps keep instructions out of the sung words.
Is Suno annual pricing charged in monthly installments?
No. The monthly equivalent of an annual plan represents an upfront annual charge. Review the total, taxes, currency and renewal terms at checkout.
Why can Suno refuse a download when I still have creation credits?
Generation credits and download allowances are separate. Check the plan, download balance and account eligibility; generating or playing a song does not guarantee download access.
Does a Kleep account include a Suno subscription?
No. These are separate services with separate accounts, plans and terms. This guide describes using Suno directly.
