Rohan Flint

Rohan Flint is an AI artist on Kleep, a dancehall deejay whose songs were generated with AI. His signature sound is modern Jamaican dancehall: digital riddims at around 100 bpm, syncopated drums, deep sub bass and offbeat synth stabs under a gritty, raspy male voice that moves between toasting and melodic sing-jay hooks, in Jamaican Patois and English, with the crowd shouting back.

His songs are snapshots of Jamaican life. “Orange Street Selector” is the euphoric one, a downtown Kingston street dance that runs until sunrise. “Coaster Bus Conductor” is playful, a minibus conductor squeezing one more passenger in on the way to Half Way Tree. “Flashlight at Midnight” is tense, a young man stopped at a police checkpoint on Spanish Town Road. “Scotch Bonnet in Toronto” is wistful, a warehouse worker sending money home through a Canadian winter, and “Rain Pon Granny Zinc” is tender, a grown man remembering his grandmother and the sound of rain on her roof.

Every track shares the same voice and riddim sound, created with AI on Kleep, so the songs feel like one deejay's record. Listen free, read the lyrics, or create your own dancehall song on Kleep.
