Rise Up

Woke up tired but I'm still in the race Setbacks teach me, they ain't no disgrace Every closed door is a lesson I keep Plant in the concrete and watch how I grow deep Hands to the sky 'cause I came from the ground Turn all that silence into a sound They counted me out, I just counted to one Look at me now, I'm not nearly done Rise up, rise up, no matter how they doubt Rise up, rise up, that's what it's all about Stumble seven times, get up on the eight Rise up, rise up, we don't hesitate Small steps, still steps, every one of them counts Patience is a muscle and I'm flexing the amount Give a little light to the next one in line We all shining brighter when we let each other shine Rise up, rise up, no matter how they doubt Rise up, rise up, that's what it's all about Stumble seven times, get up on the eight Rise up, rise up, we don't hesitate
